Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Kazuya Saito / Sato Apps ("we") handles information when you use earlie.
Last updated: 2026-08-30
1. Information on your device
Plans, steps, deadlines, packing lists, plan history, packing preferences, remembered places, onboarding answers and permission choices are stored on your device. No earlie account or sign-in is required. Reusing a saved template or history entry does not send that content to AI. Updating a route may use map services. If device backups are enabled, local app data may be included in Apple backups.
2. Information sent for AI processing
Before AI plan generation, AI edits or AI destination selection, the app asks for your explicit permission. Your plan or edit text (including speech converted to text), date, time zone, language and relevant existing steps or packing items are sent to OpenAI through Cloudflare. Destination selection may also send city/local-area context and candidate names, addresses, distances and travel estimates.
We use this information to interpret deadlines, generate and review preparation steps and select destination candidates. The app does not directly send your exact current GPS coordinates to OpenAI, but an address you type or candidate information may reveal a location. Do not enter passwords, payment information, detailed medical information or other people’s personal information without permission.
3. AI provider data handling
Requests use store: false, so we do not request persistent storage of responses. This is not a guarantee of zero retention. OpenAI may retain inputs and outputs for abuse monitoring, normally for up to 30 days, with exceptions for legal or safety needs. Supported models may also retain temporary prompt caches for up to 24 hours.
Our OpenAI project currently has input/output sharing enabled. Information sent may be used by OpenAI to improve its services and train or improve models. You can use templates without using AI. The 30-day period refers to abuse-monitoring logs, not a retention limit for all data shared for improvement or training. Withdrawing AI consent does not automatically undo prior training use.
4. Maps, speech and notifications
If you allow location access, Apple location and map services process current location, destinations, search terms, travel mode and arrival time to search for places and estimate travel. Location permission is optional; you can enter travel time manually.
Voice input uses Apple speech recognition. Recognition runs on-device when supported and may otherwise be processed by Apple. We do not upload audio recordings to our API or OpenAI. Sending the resulting text to AI is covered by the separate AI permission described above.
Notifications and Live Activities can display plan and step content on the Lock Screen, where others may see it. Notifications are scheduled locally; we do not register a push token with our own notification server.
5. Diagnostics and support
For reliability, troubleshooting, monitoring usage and operating costs, and abuse prevention, Cloudflare and Langfuse process request time, latency, success/failure, token counts, model, app version and a random per-request identifier. Current diagnostic logs do not store plan text, AI response text, destination addresses, audio or exact location. We do not connect these records using a persistent advertising or user identifier.
Cloudflare may process IP addresses and connection information to deliver and secure the service. This website has no advertising, tracking pixels or analytics scripts.
If you contact us, we process the email address and information you choose to send to answer your request. Contact aigahaku@gmail.com, and avoid including unnecessary personal information.
6. Providers and international processing
We use Cloudflare for hosting, delivery and security; OpenAI for AI processing; Langfuse for content-free performance diagnostics; and Apple for platform, map, speech and notification services. Information is handled under the providers’ contractual data protections and this policy, and may be processed in the United States, Japan or other countries outside your residence. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
7. Retention, deletion and withdrawal
Delete local information or withdraw AI permission in the app’s Privacy & Support screen. Withdrawing permission stops new AI requests but cannot undo a previous transmission. Location, microphone, speech and notification permissions can be changed in iPhone Settings.
Our API does not store plan or response content in a history database. Content-free diagnostics are retained for as long as needed for troubleshooting, security and operation. Support records are retained for as long as needed to handle the request and comply with law. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, including for records from earlier test versions. We will check what we hold and respond as required by law and technically possible.
See Delete data for instructions. Information already held by Apple or AI providers, including backups, is also subject to their own policies.
8. Children and health information
earlie is not primarily directed at children and is not a medical device for diagnosis or treatment. Even when planning a medical appointment or packing medication, avoid including unnecessary health information or identifying details. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been provided inappropriately.
9. Changes and contact
We will announce material changes here or in the app and ask for permission again where required. For privacy, access, correction or deletion requests, contact aigahaku@gmail.com.
